M&G Classical Concert Identity
Chelmsford City Theatres approached Inscribe to aid in their marketing and promoting of the M&G classical series of concerts. The concerts are mainly frequented by local classical concertgoers and classical enthusiasts, who can enjoy enthralling the classical music without the need to travel far. The theatre wanted to increase the visitors by targeting classical newbies whilst still retaining their existing customer base. To capture the attention of the new audience, to whom many may not experienced live classical music, we wanted to communicate the excitement and emotion of a live classical event and how enthralling it is.

Brochure and Marketing Design
To appeal to the new audience and capture the excitement of the music we developed a brand texture using diagonal lines, shading and colouring to portray the movement of the musicians and conductor. This was carried through the identity, marketing literature and posters. The look and feel of the marketing steered away from the traditional type of marketing expected and had much fresher and exciting feel to engage with the audience. The design has been such a success that it has been used for recurring seasons with a change of colour and cover design to differentiate.
