We were approached by the team at Hotel Latour to redesign their logo before the launch of a new pr campaign and major onsite work of the hotel. The logo and branding brief had to reflect the inspirational values of the new hotel brand: luxurious, contemporary design, cutting edge technology and excellent customer service. The identity had to appeal to an audience of would be business travellers, conference delegates and style conscious leisure travellers.

After thorough research of other luxury and large group hotel brands, the focus was to create a brand identity which would be individual, modern and aid the Hotel Latour brand to stand proud in a fiercely competitive market. The final logo drew inspiration from the modern iconic architecture of the hotel building. We used linear lines integrated with the typography, creating a logo which would compliment the architecture of the building when used on signage. The development of the identity continued the clean and modern theme, using refined typography and well considered layouts to reflect luxurious quality and attention to detail of the Hotel Latour brand.
