Jimmy’s, a well established chain of all-you-can-eat restaurants, had big plans to expand their chain to become a truly nationwide brand. Jimmy’s required a new brand identity which would allow them to compete with well-known high street restaurant chains, as well as communicate their passion for great food, variety of choice and great value. Inscribe’s approach (working in partnership with Jimmy’s) was to create a new restaurant brand identity which felt welcoming and friendly, but also gave Jimmy’s a new look which set it aside from high street competitors without being too revolutionary.

Restaurant Brand Identity
Inscribe developed a modern, softer, welcoming logo. Subtlety integrating the chilli mark from the existing logo and creating bespoke lettering which felt more relaxed and welcoming. The new restaurant identity used warmer and brighter colours in its brand palette creating a feeling of freshness. We also developed a new Jimmy’s typeface from hand drawn type so that marketing, signage and literature all worked together harmoniously within the Jimmy’s brand identity.
